Refer-a-Friend Programme Term & Conditions:
A "successful referral” refers to the status of your referral after completion of the following:
(i) signs up via your unique referral link or code,
(ii) makes an accumulated eligible spend of $120 or more after sign-up
(iii) has his/her Cashback status earned from the minimum spend amount stated in (ii) confirmed
(iv) has his/her Cashback withdrawal bank account details submitted.
It is only upon completion of all of the above within 180 days from friend sign up date that a referral will be considered "qualified".
Additional information for each points above:
i.i) Your friend must sign up via your unique referral link or code. Only the last referral link clicked will be eligible for the Cashback reward.
i.ii) If referred via email, your friend has to input the your (referrer's) email address when signing up on ShopBack.
ii.i) Referree's eligible purchases must be a legitimate order or purchase that is not from an existing promotions such as new customer's promotions (eg. first-time user voucher deals).
ii.ii) Orders that do not earn Cashback, or any cancelled, refunded or exchanged orders will not count towards an eligible spend.
ii.iii) Eligible spends are applicable to transactions on ShopBack Online Cashback.
ii.iv) Your $30 referral Cashback will be tracked when your friend signs up. Cashback will be credited to your account upon the completion of $120 in eligible spend. Details please find:
The status of your referral bonus will appear as ‘Pending’ in both accounts once your referred friend signs up.
The status of your referral bonus will move to ‘Confirmed’ once your referred friend meets all the criteria highlighted above within 180 days from friend sign up date.
The status of your referral bonus may take up to 48 hours to update to ‘Confirmed’ from the moment all criteria is met.
The status of your referral bonus may move to 'Rejected' if all criteria is not met within 180 days from friend sign up date.
The following is a non-exhaustive list of activities that are not permitted and that will disqualify you from earning referral bonuses:
(ii) posting your referral link on any ShopBack merchant's social media channels
(iii) disguising your referral link as a generic link and populating it within web pages,
(iii) keyword bidding for the purpose of generating traffic to pages containing your referral link, and
(iv) any similar activity determined by ShopBack in its sole discretion to be inconsistent with the purpose of ShopBack's Refer-a-Friend Programme.
ShopBack reserves the right to alter the terms and conditions of this promotion. Any infringement of the above terms and conditions would result in the loss of all bonuses. Repeat offences would result in the closure of your ShopBack account.
